"A really simple way to roast asparagus. Can be served hot or cooled to room temperature for use in salads."
Preheat oven to 500°F.
Snap off tough ends of asparagus spears.
In a shallow baking pan (large enough to hold asparagus in single layer) toss asparagus with oil and salt and pepper to taste until coated well.
Roast asparagus, shaking pan every 2 minutes, until tender and lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
Remove pan from oven and drizzle vinegar over asparagus, shaking pan to combine well.

I am on a roll. And when I am on a role, I go all out. What, you ask? Pasta....
Delicious! We really enjoyed the asparagus cooked this way - mine was fairly thick so I cooked for a minute or two longer than indicated. Thanks for sharing!
We loved these! I especially loved the tops because they were slightly charred and the fact that it is not overly complicated with too many seasoning elements. The natural flavor came out beautifully. Thank you Mikekey. It's a winner.
I had some asparagus that I needed to use, and I am so pleased I chose this recipe.
Wow so quick and simple, with wonderful flavours.
I am the only asparagus eater in the family, but DH saw this come out of the oven and started picking at it, then asked for some on his plate.
We both loved these, as a side to our fish.
You just can't wrong with this recipe!
I loved these so much, and they only took a few minutes to make. Delicious with my steak tonight! Thank you for sharing this with us here Mikekey! Linda
A really great veggie addition to our Thanksgiving dinner, and they were so easy, which I love when I am trying to cook lots of things at once. Everyone really loved them. Thank you Mikekey!
