Heavily butter 8x8 pan Pam spray it
Have all ingredients measured out and ready including cup of ice water
Mix sugar and milk in a heavy bottomed Pam sprayed saucepan over medium-high heat.
Let the mixture come to a molten boil for about 10 minutes
Don't leave keep stirring
Test a sample of the mixture in a cup of ice water.
If it sticks together in the water, it is ready.
Otherwise, continue to boil.
Add butter, vanilla ,salt and peanut butter.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir the mixture until the peanut butter is smooth.
Pour the mixture into an 8 x8-inch heavily buttered Pam sprayed pan and let it cool
Slice into small pieces
