  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heavily butter 8x8 pan Pam spray it

  • Step 2: Have all ingredients measured out and ready including cup of ice water

  • Step 3: Mix sugar and milk in a heavy bottomed Pam sprayed saucepan over medium-high heat.

  • Step 4: Stirring constantly

  • Step 5: Let the mixture come to a molten boil for about 10 minutes

  • Step 6: Don't leave keep stirring

  • Step 7: Test a sample of the mixture in a cup of ice water.

  • Step 8: If it sticks together in the water, it is ready.

  • Step 9: Otherwise, continue to boil.

  • Step 10: Add butter, vanilla ,salt and peanut butter.

  • Step 11: Remove the pan from the heat and stir the mixture until the peanut butter is smooth.

  • Step 12: Work fast

  • Step 13: Pour the mixture into an 8 x8-inch heavily buttered Pam sprayed pan and let it cool

  • Step 14: Slice into small pieces
