"Originally opened in 1897, Lombardi's was licensed 8 yrs later in 1905 by the City of New York & became America's First Pizzeria. 1 of their featured signature toppings is their homemade meatballs, also lovingly featured on their main menu as "Grandma's Meatballs". Grandma's Meatballs (a combo of beef & pork) got a 3rd chance to shine when Lombardi's John Brescio created this outstanding & easy-fix meatball dip certain to be a crowd-pleaser. ENJOY!"
Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan & oregano.
Reserve 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese. Then stir in remaining mozzarella cheese, meatballs, tomatoes & olives until combined.
Transfer mixture to a 1 1/2 qt baking dish, top w/reserved mozzarella cheese & bake uncovered for 25-30 min.
TO SERVE: Serving w/RITZ Crackers for dipping was suggested, but feel free to select another dipper or combo of dippers.
