Step 1

Cook the linguine according to package directions.

Step 2

Drain and put in a serving bowl.

Step 3

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small nonstick skillet.

Step 4

Add the parsley, basil, thyme, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper.

Step 5

Reduce the heat and cook until the herbs wilt.

Step 6

Discard the garlic.

Step 7

Pour the herbed butter over the linguine and toss to coat.

Step 8

Serve immediately.

What a great, simple, side dish. I loved all of the fresh herbs..........but I did have to use dried oregano. Thanks for sharing a nice keeper, Teresa.
