I made this recipe on 1/27/13 for the Billboard Tag Game, and most importantly for mine and my SO's dinner. As the meat/onion mixture was cooking,a bit of seasoned salt and extra pepper was added. After draining, the remaining ingredients in Step 2 were added. Since I'm not that crazy about dill pickles,a bit of sweet pickle relish was used. The way this recipe is written,it would be great for kids and those adults who don't like spicy. But I think if you add a bit of crushed red pepper flakes or a dash of chili powder, it would be great for those that like a bit of heat. This is a recipe that could appeal to a lot of taste buds. Thanks for posting and, " Keep Smiling :) "

This is such an easy recipe and very tasty. I loved that it had just enough "sloppy" not too runny but just lovely and moist. I used grated cheddar on it. Because I am a spice hound I added 1 teaspoon of cajun. Served on a Portuguese Bun Mmm Lovely Saturday night dinner Thanks Linda

I have to agree, this is one quick and easy recipe when time is short and everyone is hungry. The best part is that it also tastes good and does please the whole family. Made as posted, some added sliced tomatoes onions and lettuce along with the cheese and pickles. Plans are to double the recipe for the times I make it for weekend company. Heat and serve makes for easy and extra visiting time! Recipe added to my Weekend Cookbook!
