"Beef Stew is always great to have in the winter. If you love stews, this is the one to try. Delicious as a clear broth soup, or thicken to make a gravy. Both are awesome! Make along with my recipe for Bea's Herbed Dumplings, and you will be coming back for another bowl!"

Good comfort food here! We loved this simple stew with the meat so tender and the broth so full of great flavor. I made a chicken stew using this recipe too and it was awesome! So heart warming during these cold winter nights. I made your recipe for herbed dumplings http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/beas-herbed-dumplings-4248 to have with both the stews I made. They were delicious too!

We loved it! Simple on ingredients and great flavor spoonful after spoonful. It tasted so good with the broth, but I wanted to thicken it a bit because I wanted to serve it in bread bowls. Delicious that way too!

Yummy and warmed the bones beef stew. It tasted so good with all this snow and cold. I browned my meat really well to give lots of flavor to the broth. It was even better the second day. A chewy roll was the sidekick and made a really tasty lunch for my son and I!

I made mom's biscuits and your beef stew. Delicious! I thickened the broth a little because Bryan likes it that way, but I took out some for me because I love the flavor of the broth. Browning the stew beef gives the broth such a great flavor along with the veggies. So good when it's so darn cold outside!

This is a great fall soup - instead of water, I used beef broth and then added the 2T of cornstarch at the end for a little bit thicker stew. A classic and way better than the 'from the can' variety.
