Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oil in stock pot.
Step 2
Season meat with salt pepper and paprika, then brown pork all over. Remove then add in onions and garlic; brown.
Step 3
Add pork back in, then add the water and bay leaf.
Step 4
Cook roast for 3 hours. Drain fat off top.
Step 5
Add beans (may need more water and more salt and pepper).
Step 6
Cook slow until beans are done.
