Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon rind, juice, egg yolks, and milk in a heavy sauce pan and cook over medium heat until thick. Stir in butter and cool to room temperature.
Step 2
Stir in sour cream and pour into pie shell.
Step 3
Cover with whipped cream, garnish with lemon rind, store in refrigerator.
