"Another recipe of my mothers that I grew up eating. I make often because it gives you the chance to have the taste of lasagna but doesn't take as long as traditional lasagna. "

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
Step 2
Meanwhile brown ground beef with onion and bell pepper and garlic. Drain grease.
Step 3
Stir in spaghetti sauce, basil and oregano, simmer 10 minutes. Remove 1 cup of meat sauce and set aside.
Step 4
Mix noodles into meat sauce.
Step 5
Place 1/2 of the noodle mixture into greased 9x13 pan.
Step 6
Combine ricotta cheese, egg and parsley. Spread on top of noodle mixture.
Step 7
Layer 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over casserole.
Step 8
Place remaning noodle-meat mixture on top of the cheese layer.
Step 9
Layer 1 cup of mozzarella cheese on casserole. Dot remaining set aside meat sauce over the top of the casserole.
Step 10
Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
