"Darlene Kossman via lensers telephone office Meadow Grove ne 1941, she says they are very good cookies. Dreamer in Ontario said Darlene Kossman is right. These are very good cookies. I overcooked the first batch. I was busy doing other things and didn't hear the timer therefor I'm not sure how long they baked. The second batch were baked for 10 minutes as suggested. The second batch looked right to me but DH preferred the first batch so I guess they weren't really overcooked at all. All in all I got 30 nice sized cookies from this recipe. They were made yesterday and there are only about half a dozen cookies left in the cookie jar. Thanks for this keeper."

These cookies are very good, plus they use up ingredients that are usually on hand and also do not use much of any one ingredient. We were able to make about 20 cookies with the recipe, but we make large cookies. Thanks for sharing!
