"Ive never seen these in Kentucky before but they look interesting, kinda soda bready scone like bread you make them in a deep dish pie plate ,im always game for another kinda breakfast bread.these taste like a good biscuit .the center takes longest to cook"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Mix dry ingredients.

Cut in butter
Step 4
Add milk ,i needed a touch more milk

Knead into soft dough on a floured board
Step 6
Do not over knead
Step 7
Pat into an ungreased 6x6 pan.a deep pie pan
Step 8
Cut into 8 deep cut scores before you cook.like scones so score 8 pieces that look like pie pieces
Step 9
Bake at 400' for 15 to 20 minutes check the center mine needed a little longer
Step 10
Butter the top lightly when they come out of the oven
