Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine the flour and the yeast, baking powder, spices and sesame.
Step 2
Dissolve the sugar and turmeric in the milk.
Step 3
Add the olive oil to the flour mixture and rub together or mix till the flour mixture is moistened.
Step 4
Add the milk and combine. Add more milk if needed.
Step 5
Transfer the dough to a bowl and let it rest overnight.
Step 6
Break small even-sized pieces of dough and either use a mold previously greased and floured or roll out into large 4 inch rounds, and decorate by hand.
Step 7
Bake in a preheated 350F for about 15 minutes or until golden.
