Step 1

Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

Step 2

In a bowl place the breads and then pour 1 cup of water over - let soak 5 minutes; drain off excess water. Mash bread with a fork. Add the next 7 ingredients (- pepper) and mix well to combine. Transfer to prepared loaf pan -- can be prepared 6 hours ahead and chilled.

Step 3

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 4

Bake for 30 minutes. Pour tomato sauce over and sprinkle with oregano. Bake 20 more minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Very delicious meatloaf, it's very moist, except for the beef and tomato sauce there was no measuring here I hate measuring!) I'm more of an eyeball add it it in person :) add in some garlic powder and because of my love for Parmesan cheese probably added in more than twice the amount, added in some cayenne pepper. I chose this for the Billboard game, glad I did because we all loved it, thanks very much ellie!
