Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Cook onion, bell pepper and celery until tender.

Add flour and seasonings and stir until combined.

Add stock, rutabaga, potato and ham.

Simmer 30 minutes until rutabaga is done.
Step 6
Add the cream and warm through, do not allow to boil.
