Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place a small pot on the stove, and put in everything except the milk and the sweetener.

Step 2

Bring it to a boil. Let it boil for 3 to 5 minutes. Once it becomes dark in color, add the milk and continue to simmer for 5 to 10 seconds. Nut based milk may take about a minute. If you want stronger chai, you will also want to simmer longer.

Step 3

Strain the drink into your cup and add your sweetener.

LOVELY tea that hit the spot! The spices are spot on and love the fresh cardamom in it.
