Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cut bacon into small pieces.
Step 2
In stock pot, add bacon and fry until crisp; remove bacon from the grease.
Step 3
In the bacon fat, lightly brown the onions and season lightly, add paprika.
Step 4
Add rice and stir constantly just until the rice is lightly browned.
Step 5
Add everything else and cook slowly, stirring often until rice and potatoes are cooked.
Step 6
Season to taste.
