"This is a recipe I have had for years. It came from a cook book by Maggie Beer, and the family have really enjoyed it over the years. There is a difference between chicken drumsticks and drumettes the drumstick is the lower joint of the leg, where-as the drumette is the upper arm of the chicken wing, but in saying this I often use drumsticks as well for this recipe as they work really well also."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix the honey, thyme, olive oil, lemon zest and lemon juice together, then use to marinates the drumettes in the refrigerator for

20 -30 minutes.
Step 3
Preheat a fan-forced oven to 220Celcius (450Fahrenheit)
Step 4
Season the drumette's with salt, then place on a baking tray in one layer and bake for 15 minutes or until cooked through, turning halfway through cooking.
Step 5
Leave chicken drumette's to rest for 5 minutes, then serve scattered with extra lemon thyme leaves if desired.
