Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup honey, warmed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon thyme, roughly chopped ~ plus extra to serve
  • 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1 kilogram chicken drumettes - small drumsticks
  • Sea salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the honey, thyme, olive oil, lemon zest and lemon juice together, then use to marinates the drumettes in the refrigerator for

  • Step 2: 20 -30 minutes.

  • Step 3: Preheat a fan-forced oven to 220Celcius (450Fahrenheit)

  • Step 4: Season the drumette's with salt, then place on a baking tray in one layer and bake for 15 minutes or until cooked through, turning halfway through cooking.

  • Step 5: Leave chicken drumette's to rest for 5 minutes, then serve scattered with extra lemon thyme leaves if desired.
