Ham and Pasta Skillet
"Asparagus season is almost upon us and leftover ham always goes well with it so here is a simple recipe that is great for week nights or casual company. Original recipe was in a TV guide with some tweaking from me. This recipe goes well with a green salad and a crusty roll"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Have your water boiling for the rotini, follow package instructions for cooking.
Step 2
Boil your rotini while you are combining and cooking the other ingredients. Time it so the rotini is ready just as the mushroom soup has been added to the skillet
Step 3
In a large, lightly oiled, skillet saute the asparagus and onion for apprx 8 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 4
Stir in the diced ham.
Step 5
Add mushroom soup, garlic and pimento, stir well to combine.
Step 6
Fold in the hot pasta, lower heat, stirring often and simmer until everything is heated through
Step 7
Serve and enjoy
