Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh asparagus, chopped into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (2 ounce) jar pimento, undrained
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 2 cups rotini pasta (hot, cooked, drained)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Have your water boiling for the rotini, follow package instructions for cooking.

  • Step 2: Boil your rotini while you are combining and cooking the other ingredients. Time it so the rotini is ready just as the mushroom soup has been added to the skillet

  • Step 3: In a large, lightly oiled, skillet saute the asparagus and onion for apprx 8 minutes, stirring frequently.

  • Step 4: Stir in the diced ham.

  • Step 5: Add mushroom soup, garlic and pimento, stir well to combine.

  • Step 6: Fold in the hot pasta, lower heat, stirring often and simmer until everything is heated through

  • Step 7: Serve and enjoy
