Step by Step Method

Step 1

Using a food processor combine the almonds and sesame seeds and process pulsing until finely chopped. Add the next 3 ingredients (peppers - vinegar) and puree until well combined, season with salt and set aside.

Step 2

Prepare a grill for medium high heat; oil grate.

Step 3

Season ribs with salt and pepper and tole on a baking sheet with 1/2 cup of the prepared sauce; set remaining sauce aside for serving.

Step 4

Grill short ribs, turning occasionally, until charred and done - instant read thermometer should read 130 degrees for medium rare. This should take about 8-10 minutes.

Step 5

Transfer ribs to a cutting board and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice ribs across grain and serve with the reserved sauce.

So easy and so good! Used 4 bone-in strips and the sauce is incredibly delicious! Will be keeping this recipe. Thank you for sharing Ellie! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.

Grilling is the only thing I do during the hot weather and I have made these more than once. Such tender and deliciously flavored ribs with a little touch of spicy. It's a keeper all the way around!

Great short ribs! Other than using bone in short ribs I made as posted making for one delicious grilled supper. It was as good as I expected from a Bon Appetite recipe. Thank you for sharing Ellie, this one too good to miss!
