Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, ground cardamom, ground nutmeg, black pepper, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried dill, and salt. Mix well to form a flavored butter mixture.

Step 3

Brush each ear of corn generously with the spiced butter mixture, making sure to coat all sides.

Step 4

Place the corn on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kernels are lightly charred and tender.

Step 5

Remove the corn from the grill and transfer to a serving platter.

Step 6

Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the grilled corn.

Step 7

Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the corn for a vibrant garnish.

Step 8

Serve immediately.

We love corn, it being so versatile and in vogue for every season - on Holiday tables, etc. But, there's just nothing as good as summer corn. This version did not disappoint and we thoroughly enjoyed it. My only gripe, was the weather due to it drizzling outside, the grill was not meant to be. Wound up brushing the corn with the buttery spice, wrapped the cobs in aluminum foil and baked for about 20 minutes. I can't wait to try this again on the grill. Thank you, NE Lady for sharing. Awesome corn! We all loved the buttered spice mixture. I shaved the corn off of the cob for my family, but left mine intact. It was delicious and super easy!
