Step by Step Method

Combine dry ingredients.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, malted-milk powder, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar and salt.

Combine wet ingredients.

Whip egg whites.

Fold into batter.

Whisk about a quarter of the beaten egg whites into the main batter, then gently fold in the remaining whites.
