Step 10: Fold into batter.
Step 11: Whisk about a quarter of the beaten egg whites into the main batter, then gently fold in the remaining whites.
Step 12: Let the batter rest for 10 minutes while your waffle iron preheats.
Step 13: Cook the waffles.
Step 14: Lightly coat your waffle iron with cooking spray. Spoon the batter onto the iron and cook until the waffle is golden and crisp.
Step 15: Serve.
Step 16: Repeat with the remaining batter and serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
