"This is a great gluten free slurry I use for all my sauces or gravy. This recipe is for 1 cup sauce or gravy, for a bigger batch increase by equal parts butter and sweet rice flour (1 tablespoon each per each cup cold liquid)"

Step 1

Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, sprinkle the sweet rice flour over melted butter and whisk.

Cook for 3 to 4 minutes while whisking a few times until mixture just starts to change color.

Whisk in the cold liquid a bit at a time until all used up.

Step 4

Voila, you have your thickened gravy or sauce base.
