Step 1: Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, sprinkle the sweet rice flour over melted butter and whisk.
Step 2: Cook for 3 to 4 minutes while whisking a few times until mixture just starts to change color.
Step 3: Whisk in the cold liquid a bit at a time until all used up.
Step 4: Voila, you have your thickened gravy or sauce base.
