Step by Step Method
Step 1
Soak poppy seeds in scalded milk over night.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 375F.
Step 3
Cream butter and sugar together.
Step 4
Add soaked seeds vanilla and milk.
Step 5
Add flour sifted with baking powder and salt.
Step 6
Beat well.
Step 7
Fold in egg white.
Step 8
Pour into greased and floured 10 inch spring form cake pan.
Step 9
Bake for 25 minutes.
