Wonderful aroma filled my kitchen while simmering the beef and vege's for a couple hours. Love using bay leaves they always add that homemade flavor. I did use beef broth instead of bouillon, added black pepper and increased the garlic, we love it. Had a package of kluski noodles so used those and like poppy seeds so a nice change of pace for us. Definitely comfort food especially serving it with mashed potatoes. Next time will double the recipe so we will have more leftovers. Made and reviewed for the Autumn Fever Event 2019.
