Garlic Red Skin Mashed Potatoes

Step 1

Wash potatoes, leave skins on. Cut into quarters to allow for faster cooking time.

Step 2

Place cut potatoes in large pot, fill over the potatoes with water and add 1tps of fresh minced garlic.

Step 3

Bring potatoes to a boil, continue cooking for 10-12min, or until a fork can easily pierce thought potato.

Step 4

Once potatoes are cooked, drain all water.

Step 5

Add in 1/2 cup of butter or margarine. Using a potato masher, mash until butter in mixed in and melted.

Step 6

Add in remaining ingredients and mix with electric mixer until smooth

These are great tasting mashed potatoes and we loved all the additions. They were creamy and they went so well with our grilled steaks and zucchini. We love them and ate them twice so far this week!
