Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 medium red potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons fresh minced garlic (I had more because we love garlic)
  • 1/2 cup butter (or margarine)
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half cream
  • 1 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: Wash potatoes, leave skins on. Cut into quarters to allow for faster cooking time.

  • Step 2: Place cut potatoes in large pot, fill over the potatoes with water and add 1tps of fresh minced garlic.

  • Step 3: Bring potatoes to a boil, continue cooking for 10-12min, or until a fork can easily pierce thought potato.

  • Step 4: Once potatoes are cooked, drain all water.

  • Step 5: Add in 1/2 cup of butter or margarine. Using a potato masher, mash until butter in mixed in and melted.

  • Step 6: Add in remaining ingredients and mix with electric mixer until smooth
