Step 1

Preheat grill to high.

Step 2

Thread 3 cloves of garlic onto a large toothpick.

Step 3

Repeat with remaining garlic.

Step 4

Brush with sesame oil.

Step 5

Season with salt and pepper.

Step 6

Loosely wrap each kebab in aluminum foil.

Step 7

Arrange on grill.

Step 8

Cook until tender, about 5 minutes per side, turning with tongs. Remove foil in last few minutes to brown garlic slightly.

These can add so much to any meal. I don't BBQ but I wanted to try them so I cleaned 8 large cloves of garlic - placed them on toothpicks (3 on two picks and 2 on one pick). I placed them on some foil, painted them with sesame seed oil, sprikled on some salt & pepper, sealed the foil and popped them in a 375 oven for 25 minutes - perfect. I served them with a tofu meal & my Italian sausage meal. Enjoyed by both of us.
