Step 1: Preheat grill to high.
Step 2: Thread 3 cloves of garlic onto a large toothpick.
Step 3: Repeat with remaining garlic.
Step 4: Brush with sesame oil.
Step 5: Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6: Loosely wrap each kebab in aluminum foil.
Step 7: Arrange on grill.
Step 8: Cook until tender, about 5 minutes per side, turning with tongs. Remove foil in last few minutes to brown garlic slightly.
