"Everyone here remembers Papa D,who unfortunately passed away in 2012. In his legacy he left behind some wonderful recipes, this is one of his that was posted to ZAAR/Food.com. I wanted to bring it over here for others to enjoy. His description: From Sparkrecipes.com. My review: This recipe was made on 6/18/12 as a part mine and my SO's dinner. I had no choice but to use frozen corn, but other than that the recipe was made as it was written. After cooking the bacon, a bit of chopped onion was cooked in the grease.OMGoodness !!! it was so,so good. :) All I can say is that this will most certainly be made again, but using fresh corn the next time. I made this for Papa D's Cook-A-Thon. " Keep Smiling :) ". Lovingly re posted to " ZAAR " on July 11th.2014. " Keep Smiling :)"
