"One of Libbie's recipes.now i used frozen with this and you dont have to cook this long .this is a really nice recipe i didn't use the rosemary but will try cooking a sprig in the beans next time seems italian to me"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook lima beans in water 20 minutes until soft.
Step 2
In skillet saute bacon; remove and set aside.
Step 3
Saute onion then garlic until golden.
Step 4
Add drained limas and saute a few minutes.
Step 5
Add salt and pepper and a pinch of rosemary.
Step 6
Toss with crumbled bacon and parmesan cheese.
