Step 1

Heat your oven to 300° Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Get out a large pot, and on medium heat, melt the butter.

Step 3

Next, put in the cornstarch, sour cream, onion, and Swiss cheese. Mix it all together. Add the green beans. Stir.

Step 4

Place the mixture into a casserole dish. Put it in the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Add the cornflakes on top and cook for 10 minutes more.

This is so easy to make, it is perfect for a weeknight dinner. I will saute the onions next time before adding to the casserole, and cook just a bit longer. Personal preference. Loved the swiss cheese in this.
