Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a blender, or food processor, combine egg, salt, mustard, lemon juice and 1/4 cup oil
Step 2
Process until thoroughly blended and scrape down the sides
Step 3
With machine running, add remaining oil very slowly and steadily
Step 4
Continue to process until all the oil is added and the mayonnaise is light and thick.
Step 5
Store covered in refrigerator
