"I'm not a big fan of raw celery (maybe because of the strings???) so I remove most of them with a vegetable peeler and enjoy it cooked. The Five Spice adds an interesting flavor to this stir-fry/braise."

Step 1

Prep veggies and stir fry in olive oil until just beginning to become tender.

Step 2

Combine chicken broth, sugar, soy sauce and Five Spice powder and pour into skillet. Reduce heat and simmer 10-15 minutes until liquid is evaporated and carrots are crisp tender.
