Step by Step Method

Step 1

In pot brown seasoned beef in oil.

Step 2

Put in Pam sprayed crockpot.

Step 3

Deglaze pan with beef stock.

Step 4

Pour into crockpot.

Step 5

Add beef, soy sauce, canned mushrooms and peppercorns.

Step 6

Simmer on high 6 hours adding water as needed.

Step 7

In saute pan add butter and brown the fresh mushrooms.

Step 8

Add garlic, soy sauce, soup and cream, simmer until thickened.

Step 9

Slice beef into 1 inch slices.

Step 10

Season with soy sauce and ground pepper.

Step 11

Let it simmer for some minutes; if the sauce becomes too thick, add some of the beef broth.

Step 12

Add the slices of beef to the sauce and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
