"Ideal condiment for liver, spaghetti, foul medames (Egyptian fava beans), salads, dipping bread in it and then in dukkah and on fried potatoes. Traditionally should be crushed with a mortar and pestle. Someone said it needs more cumin but I think a little goes a long way."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In blender, blend everything together but the water, not too much to keep some pieces in the liquid.

Step 2

Put into a 1/2 litre mineral water bottle, add the lemon juice and top up the remaining space with cold water, shake every time you use it and store in refrigerator.
