Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat oil in pan.

Step 2

Season beef to taste with the spices.

Step 3

Fry until browned.

Step 4

Add to Pam sprayed crockpot.

Step 5

Add onions and saute until brown.

Step 6

Add garlic and tomato paste, cook slightly.

Step 7

Add to crockpot.

Step 8

Swish broth in pan and pour into crockpot.

Step 9

Add peas and bay leaf.

Step 10

Cook on low for at least 6 hours until peas are cooked and meat is tender.

Step 11

Add water as needed.

Step 12

Stir occasionally.

Step 13

Season to taste.

Step 14

Remove bay leaf.
