Step by Step Method
Step 1
Coat stew meat in flour and set aside. In a Dutch oven heat oil over medium heat. Add stew meat and brown on all sides.
Step 2
Add seasoning mix, tomatoes, wine and rosemary and mix to combine.
Step 3
Bring to a boil and put lid on Dutch oven. Reduce the heat, simmer for 45 minutes and stir occasionally.
Step 4
Add vegetables and simmer for 1 hour or until beef and vegetables are tender. Stir during cook time and stew can be thickened with additional flour if desired.
