Step by Step Method

Step 1

Prepare the egg noodles according to package directions.

Step 2

In a large skillet cook the ground beef with onion and mushrooms until meat is browned; drain fat.

Step 3

Add in garlic and chili flakes; cook stirring for 2 minutes

Step 4

Mix in gravy and sour cream until combined, then mix in the cooked noodles stirring over medium-low heat until heated.

Step 5

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6

Serve on a plate then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

My hubby liked this a lot but for him it did need just a little something more. I added a couple shakes of worcestershire sauce and lemon pepper along with the salt and pepper. Neither one of us do spicy very well so just a pinch of the chili flakes went in. Had cremini mushrooms on hand and they gave the dish a rustic earthy flavor. Served with a salad and buttered peas.
