"A simple and easy pork loin recipe for the crock pot. It comes out moist and tender every time; and, the sauce is delicious - served over the pork, rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes. Perfect for a lazy Sunday Dinner. I really find that this recipe works best with a pork loin vs a tenderloin. The tenderloin is already a tender cut; and, doesn't take advantage of the long slow cooking time. Simply add a vegetable, and you have a easy dinner."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pork ... The night before you plan to cook your pork; mix the mustard with the seasoning blend and rub over the pork loin. Then, cover and refrigerate over night.

Step 2

Crock Pot ... Add the pork loin to the crock pot, and place the onions along the side.

Step 3

Sauce ... Add both cans of soup to a small bowl and mix to combine. Add a little wine to each can, and mix using a spoon to get all the soup left in the can. Then pour into the bowl and mix. Pour the sauce over the pork.

Step 4

Cover and Cook ... I like to cook on high for 2-3 hours, then low until the meat is done (about 3-4 hours). But, you could always cook on low for the whole time (about 8 hours). Now, obviously cooking times will vary. The size of the loin; and, the type of crock pot can really alter the cooking times. I have a new oval pot, and used a 3 1/2 lb roast. Cooking on high for 2 hrs, then low for 4 1/2 hrs worked well; but, I have also cooked a 4lb roast for 8 hrs on low. So as you can see, there are different ways to cook these; and, times can really vary.

Step 5

Serve and ENJOY! ... Remove the loin from the pot to a serving platter, and garnish with half the herbs. Add the other half to the sauce, and stir to combine. Serve over buttered noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes. Add a vegetable for a easy and delicious dinner.

Wow this was so very good, the sauce just makes this over the top, I first browned the roast with garlic salt and pepper along with the onions (I didn't have any steak seasoning), added in a clove of garlic and pinch of cayenne pepper, I served the pork and sauce with mashed potatoes and my family was in pork roast heaven, I'm saving this recipe for sure and going to use the steak seasoning next time, thanks!
