We tried this last night, but the results were mixed and I made enough changes that it doesn't seem right to add stars. The result was flavorful but our one inch pork chops were tough enough to need a steak knife. Since the onion soup mix is listed in the ingredients and not in the process, I omitted it and substituted Worcestershire, mustard and lemon juice to reduce the sodium and add flavor. Otherwise, I followed the recipe instructions. Testing a covered dish in mid-bake loses the precious steam, so I didn't test it. Sorry that I didn't. Great flavor and overcooked pork chops. (Addition: Thanks for the change to instructions. Others will find it easier to make.)
