Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix sugar and cocoa together

Step 2

Stir in melted butter

Step 3

Add unbeaten eggs and vanilla, beat well

Step 4

Sift flour and salt gradually add to mixture. stirring well after each addition. Fold in nuts

Step 5

Bake in a 9x13 greased pan at 350 for 25 - 30 minutes

Step 6

Fudge Frosting, in pot mix sugar, butter, milk and chocolate chips

Step 7

On medium heat bring to boil, turn down burner simmer two minutes

Step 8

Remove from heat, add vanilla, beat until the right consistency. Spread over brownies

These were very sweet brownies and not chocolaty enough. I made them for a chocolate lovers 13th Birthday. They were light brown...I was thinking they might be missing some melted chocolate or something from the ingredients? I used Ghiradelli cocoa and bittersweet chocolate. They did look cute cut into squares and topped with colorful sprinkles. I noticed though that most of the people, even kids, left their small pieces unfinished. Sorry this one didn't work out for me. Made for the Billboard recipe tag game.
