Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cut steak into four pieces.

Step 2

Mix flour, salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3

Pound into steak with edge of plate.

Step 4

Cook onion and bell pepper in hot Wesson oil until golden.

Step 5

Push to side of pan.

Step 6

Brown meat slowly on both sides

Step 7

Cover with onion mixture.

Step 8

Add tomato sauce and water (wash out can); blend.

Step 9

Add Worcestershire sauce.

Step 10

Heat until bubbling well.

Step 11

Cover tightly, lower heat and simmer 2 hours or more, until meat is very tender.

Step 12

Add peas 10-15 minutes before serving.
