Dee, this is SO GOOD! A lot like I remember from Palm Desert, maybe even better. I'm not a fan of walnuts, but the toasted walnuts in this really kicked it up. Delicious! I went ahead and ground everything except the ice cream and ice the first time around, making a nice and smooth base. Then added the frozen stuff. But girlfriend, this is NOT two servings! I made 3/4 recipe, but wished I had made the whole thing just for me. LOL. Thanks for sharing a treat that really takes me back to my youth!
