Step by Step Method
Step 1
In large stockpot, melt butter.
Step 2
Add onions, celery, carrots and kohlrabi, season lightly.
Step 3
Cook until softened.
Step 4
Add rest of ingredients and simmer until veggies are soft.
Step 5
Meanwhile, cook flour mixture until brown don't burn.
Step 6
Add water to thicken and season to taste.
Step 7
Add to soup mixture and cook until thickened.
