Step 1: In large stockpot, melt butter.
Step 2: Add onions, celery, carrots and kohlrabi, season lightly.
Step 3: Cook until softened.
Step 4: Add rest of ingredients and simmer until veggies are soft.
Step 5: Meanwhile, cook flour mixture until brown don't burn.
Step 6: Add water to thicken and season to taste.
Step 7: Add to soup mixture and cook until thickened.
